Why I became a REALTOR.
1. Growing up I lived in a neighborhood of similar aged families just starting out. All of the kids were about the same age, we all played in each other’s yards, ate all of the food at whoevers parents went to the grocery store last, stayed out until the street lights came on or our parents yelled out the front door for us to come home. I think more kids need to play outside! I met lifelong friends in that neighborhood, some I’ve known for over 40 years. I am very fortunate my parents provided my brothers and I that opportunity! I want to see more families creating this for their children.
2. When I first got married, finding the perfect home felt impossible! We wanted things we couldn’t afford, we wanted a place we could make our own, but didn’t want to go over budget and be house poor. We found it! Buying a home is possible if that’s what you truly want! We saved every penny and found a house we could make ours!
3. When I moved to Tampa in 2016, I rented for the first year to figure out what areas of the city met what I was looking for. I found a great house, in a great neighborhood, with the best neighbors. I feel at home here! The Citrus Park area offers great schools, proximity to everything Tampa has to offer, affordable housing, and a sense of community. I live in a very quiet neighborhood where people still wave hello when I’m taking Barkley for a walk and wouldn’t change anything! Here I have met even more lifelong friends, had more people that I can count come visit, and have hosted some kick-ass pool parties!
4. I have a passion for real estate that extends beyond any commission check. I love to see homes, neighborhoods, and people transformed by their experiences with owning something that they can call their own and make lifelong memories and friends!
